Bentley Continental GT
Modulare Wheels is a US aftermarket developer that likes to play with all sorts of rides, and it seems to be extremely difficult for the company to make up its mind about what kind of cars it likes the most: luxury or go-fast ones.
In order to solve this problem Modulare wheels has chosen a vehicle that offers the best of both worlds for its latest photo shoot. We are talking about a 2012 Bentley Continental GT.
The coupe, which is wearing the optional carbon fiber exterior elements, has been gifted with a set of Modulare B18 wheels, which use a monoblock construction. The rims come in a size of 22x9.5-inches up front and 22x10.5-inches at the back, so while the styling may be subjective, the size seems just right for an aftermarket project targeting a Bentley machine.
The visual details of the wheels fitted to this Bentley
The wheels feature a tinted brush finish. We have to explain this is a rather restrained hue that appears to fit the attitude of the Crewe machine. Speaking of which, the rims come with a five double-spoke finish, one that doesn't stray all that far compared to what we've seen on factory Bentley rims. It's obvious that this is project that doesn't aim to give this Conti the kind of "look-at-me" attitude.
Bentley has strived to give the Continental GT its current imposing attitude, so we can only be happy the tuner respects this. The aluminum superforming techniques used to build the wings is enough to make you bow before this majestic grand tourer.
One special feature, which is available as an option, allows customers to keep the original Bentley center caps. This is a pretty popular feature with custom wheel customers in many countries, since it prevents potentially complicated discussions with police officers.
